Our first Savannah wedding was at the Forsyth Mansion. It was an intimate event and everyone was dressed to the nines. It was a shorter than most weddings we have shot before but Hanna managed to get all the details she needed to make her day complete. Here are just a few pictures from that day.

Road Trip

Savannah GA here we come. In the next few days we will be on the road driving two cars across ten states pulling a trailer and two kayaks. Luckily we have two wonderful dogs we can trade off to keep each other company during the long drive. I am posting our road map below because everything has been packed and I am outta time to post any new photos but we have a lot of fresh stuff to post real soon. Like our new STUDIO! and look forward to a new look for the blog and Jackson Photography coming soon.

As most of you know Tim and I can’t sit still in Vegas so we do a lot of day trips with our dogs. A while back we posted pictures from our trip to Chloride, Arizona. The owner of AZ3Sixty contacted us and asked to use my picture in their magazine. Who knew that our adventure out of town to escape the city of Vegas would get us into AZ3Sixty Magazine! I know that I am a photographer but I can be horrible at taking pictures on my own time. I am usually so busy finishing up school, getting my house to not become a disaster zone and getting my dogs their much need exercise. When we go out of town on these small day trips Tim is usually the one with the camera and I just observe, sometimes I will grab his camera and take a few frames. I do believe that some experiences in life don’t need to be captured on film and sometimes we just need to live in the moment. Tim is the exact opposite and wants to photograph everything. Well on this trip to Chloride I decided to break out my camera and bring it along on our trip. I guess it is a good thing that I did because now we have a picture published. So I think from now on I will at least keep my camera near me but I am not going to make any promises to carry on me at all times. I do have my new, what I like to call vacation camera the Cannon G9

Thanks again to Mike Gallaugher at AZ3Sixty.

So Tim and I have gotten a lot of questions in regards to the blog. Why haven’t we been posting? Just to let everyone know that we are 6 weeks away from graduating college. So we haven’t had time to really post. We are trying to keep up with our client photos and finishing our demo reel for our degree. We both will have a degree in filmmaking, however photography is our passion. So no worries to those that like to frequent our blog. We have some changes in the pipeline and we will try to post at least once a week and once we finish school we will be back to blogging. We are going to photograph a wedding at Atlantic Beach, Florida next week and we are doing a little trip up to Savannah while we are out that way. So check back for some photos of the wedding and some of our little detour.
